KALLA DESIGNS, LLC, is a New Orleans based family owned-company, and a different kind of jewelry company. You won't find any high-conflict gemstones or mass-produced jewelry in our gallery. Instead, we focus on the beauty of materials that are natural, locally made, locally bought, and/or vintage. Every piece we sell is an original design, hand-made right here in New Orleans, with the utmost care and attention paid to the color, craft, and quality of each design.
Our Philosophy
KALLA DESIGNS is a socially responsible company. We are grateful to our community in New Orleans for all it does to support the arts in every form. Because of this, we have committed to donate 10% of our profits to a local non-profit or charity organization. So every piece you buy not only adds to your own collection, it also benefits those in need in the New Orleans community.
At KALLA DESIGNS we also strive to keep our designs as environmentally and laborer friendly as possible. Unlike many larger jewelry companies, it is our policy not to purchase high-conflict gemstones. Instead, we focus on the beauty of materials that are locally made, vintage, and/or recycled. You can feel comfortable when you wear a KALLA piece that you are wearing socially and environmentally responsible piece of jewelry.
